Dr. Andrew Pande is a family medicine physician at United Regional Physician Group. He is fluent in both English and Spanish.
Dr. Pande earned his medical degree from the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, Texas, then went on to complete a family medicine residency in 2021 at the Texas Tech Health Sciences Center in Odessa, Texas.
He felt inspired to dedicate his life to helping others improve their lives during a two-year service mission in Guatemala. When he returned from the trip, Dr. Pande realized becoming a physician was who he is meant to be. “Medicine is really who I am, who I want to be, and that’s taking care of others. I chose family medicine because I like being able to take care of the whole family and educating my patients about their medical conditions.”
Dr. Pande enjoys the relationships he develops with his patients and being able to have a positive impact on their lives. “When you get that chance to help someone get better, then you feel like you’re fulfilling your purpose and someone else is benefiting from it.”
After moving around the world, including Europe, South America and both the East and West coasts of the United States, Dr. Pande said Texas was the first place that felt like he was home. During his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, watching sports, hiking and rowing.
