Dr. Brandon Ohman is a nonsurgical pain management specialist and sports medicine physician.
Dr. Ohman attended Texas Chiropractic College in Pasadena where he received his undergraduate degree and a Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine. He went on to earn a Doctor of Medicine from Ross University School of Medicine in Portsmouth, Dominica Dr. Ohman’s medical training also includes a residency in family medicine at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Odessa, Texas, and a sports medicine fellowship at John Peter Smith in Fort Worth, Texas.
Dr. Ohman began his career as a chiropractor. He wanted to go into a field that helps people, and enjoys finding natural ways to relieve a person’s pain. He realized he wanted to learn and understand the pain people experience in more depth, which led him to take interest in medicine.
Athletics has always been a big part of Dr. Ohman’s life. He was a football player for 13 years before he went to medical school. He was fascinated by the rehabilitation process for injuries, and instantly knew that sports medicine was the career he wanted to pursue.
Dr. Ohman works with diligence to increase the quality of his patients’ lives. He works with them to determine what is causing their pain. He listens to his patients, completes thorough exams, and focuses on the appropriate treatment to relieve their pain.
Outside of work, Dr. Ohman enjoys acting and spending time with his wife and four children. He participates in events with the Wichita Theatre and supports his children, who are also involved in plays and musicals. He maintains an active lifestyle and appreciates outdoor activities such as hunting.
