Flower Mai, DO

Endocrinology

Dr. Flower Mai is an endocrinologist at United Regional Physician Group who collaborates with her patients to achieve the best possible outcome in their lives.

A graduate from Texas A&M University, Dr. Mai obtained her medical degree from the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in Glendale, Arizona. She completed her internship at Pacific Hospital of Long Beach in California, a residency in Internal Medicine at St. John Macomb-Oakland Hospital in Warren, Michigan, and a fellowship in Endocrinology at Mount Clemens Regional Medical Center in Mount Clemens, Michigan.

Endocrinology consists of problems with glands and hormone production and can include conditions such as thyroid disorders, diabetes mellitus, gestational diabetes, and pituitary gland disorders. Dr. Mai is dedicated to learning and understanding tumors, high blood pressure, and cholesterol problems. She is committed to a patient-centered approach to care and works with each patient to clearly understand his or her medical condition. Many of her patients have diabetes or issues with their thyroid, adrenal glands, or pituitary gland.

Dr. Mai works with a high-level of skill and persistence to improve the quality of life for the people she treats. She looks at her job as a responsibility to her community, and goes above and beyond to make sure her patients feel at ease and, most importantly, supported through every step.

Dr. Mai loves traveling with her family, and spends the majority of her free time with her children. They enjoy going on walks, playing, and watching movies together.
