Megan Monroe-Ramos is a family nurse practitioner specializing in endocrinology at United Regional Physician Group. She helps find the diagnosis so her patients can lead happy, healthy lives.
Monroe-Ramos earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Midwestern State University. She then went on to complete her Master of Science in Nursing at Texas Women’s University in Dallas, studying women’s health. She also obtained a post-master’s certification from South University, which allowed her to become board certified as a family nurse practitioner and a women’s health nurse practitioner.
While studying internal medicine in Dallas, Monroe-Ramos became fascinated with diabetes. She is dedicated to finding the best treatment for each individual and works tirelessly to determine solutions. She educates her patients on their medical situations, making sure they fully understand the information.
Monroe-Ramos is passionate about her patients and is motivated to make sure they feel the healthiest they can possibly feel. Her treatment philosophy is to transform her patients’ lives, and she will go above and beyond to treat, educate and support them every step of the way.
She is married to her husband and together they raise their two children. Outside of work, she enjoys quality time with her family, traveling and exploring, while keeping a healthy mind, body and spirit.
