Dr. Olga Tezaguic is a family medicine physician specializing in geriatrics at United Regional Physician Group.
Born and raised in Wichita Falls, Dr. Tezaguic graduated from Midwestern State University before going on to medical school at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth. Interested in experiencing a new part of the country, Dr. Tezaguic completed her internship and residency in a family practice program at Saint Claire’s Hospital in New York. She then went on to complete a fellowship at the Colorado Springs Osteopathic Foundation in Colorado.
Dr. Tezaguic chose geriatric medicine because of her interest in that demographic, which often needs a little more care, time and attention. Her favorite part about work is the relationships she has established with her patients. She enjoys getting to understand the root of their conditions, as well as the things that matter to her patients, such as their family. Dr. Tezaguic is motivated to provide solutions for her patients’ needs, whether it’s finding help with a medication they can’t afford or lowering the amount of medications they take.
Dr. Tezaguic welcomes patients with a kind, friendly approach and is dedicated to making sure they feel taken care of by collaborating with them to determine the treatment plan possible.
Outside of work, Dr. Tezaguic strives to be active in the community. She also loves to travel throughout the country with her husband, Dr. Jeffrey Swanson, in the small plane they own.
