Orelia Terasaki, MD

Dr. Orelia Terasaki is an internal medicine physician at United Regional Physician Group.

She graduated from the University of Dallas in Irving. She then obtained her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston before completing her internship and residency training at North Carolina Baptist Health.

Dr. Terasaki was drawn to internal medicine because it allows her to focus more in depth on her adult patients’ health and establish long-term relationships with them. Dr. Terasaki most commonly manages high blood pressure, diabetes, chronic kidney disease, and heart disease, as well as coordinating care between any specialists her patients are seeing. When patients approach Dr. Terasaki to establish care for their chronic conditions, she walks them through any medications they are taking. She discusses being proactive in their health, and any current concerns they have. Dr. Terasaki strives to establish regular follow-up visits to ensure the health of her patients is improving.

Dr. Terasaki is motivated by helping transform the lives of her patients. She is determined to alleviate her patients’ health concerns.

Dr. Terasaki is a native Texan who moved to Wichita Falls in 2015 with her husband, who is a pulmonologist. Outside of work, they spend their time raising their two children. Dr. Terasaki said she loves playing video games with her husband, and they travel to Dallas often to visit family.
