Tosha Chesar is a nurse practitioner specializing in family medicine at United Regional Physician Group.
In 2008, Chesar relocated to Wichita Falls as a member of the Air Force, of which she served 10 years. She and her husband loved the community so much that they chose to separate from the military and make Wichita Falls their permanent home to raise their four children.
She received her Associate of Applied Science through the Community College of the Air Force. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, her Masters, and her certification of Family Nurse Practitioner at Midwestern State University.
She has been a part of the United Regional team since 2012. She enjoyed the fast-paced challenges of the Emergency Department for eight years, but her need to be more involved in maintenance and preventative care brought her to Family Medicine in 2019. Chesar strives to completely understand her patients, as she feels it is necessary to treat the whole person to achieve true health.
Chesar loves getting to know the patients she serves and watching them restore their health. She is dedicated to making sure her patients feel at ease when they are in her care.
