Wendy Alexander is a physician assistant in the CarePlus clinic at United Regional Physician Group.
She completed her undergraduate education at Park University in Parkville, Missouri. After spending six years in the US Air Force, she attended graduate school at the Medical University of South Carolina, in Charleston South Carolina, where she graduated with a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies.
After becoming a physician assistant (PA), Alexander began working in pulmonology and sleep medicine in Dover, Delaware. She moved to Wichita Falls in 2022 and continued to work in pulmonary medicine via telehealth. In 2023, she joined United Regional Physician Group in the CarePlus clinic.
Alexander joined the Air Force to serve others and continues to do so as a PA. She believes in treating every patient with kindness, respect, and compassion.
Alexander grew up in Kenai, Alaska. She met her husband during her time in the service and loves spending time with him and their two children. She enjoys hiking, camping, and traveling in her free time.
